. The wood has been completely dried, so there might be some little cracks when you receive it, soak it in water for a few hours, and it will disappear. Completely dried wood will last longer than wet wood. If it is not completely dried, it might crack during use.

The willow cutting board is real nice! It's being soaked in salt water for three days now.
Very nice board. Lighter than expected (probably due to the willow) but that's actually a plus. After oiling it looks absolutely amazing.
